ExEn, my project to create a high quality port of XNA to Silverlight, iOS and Android has launched successfully! It was funded by 80 people who contributed a total of $10993.

First of all, a big thank you to everyone who helped to support this project. You guys are awesome.

I will be emailing everyone who contributed to ExEn over the next couple of hours with details of your contribution rewards. In particular I will be providing login details for people who paid for early access. This is a manual process, so please be patient. If you haven’t received an email by tomorrow, please get in touch with me.

If you missed out on a chance to contribute to ExEn, especially if you wanted to get early access, send me an email. I may set up a mechanism to accept funding directly.

[UPDATE: You can now contribute directly to ExEn, as well as purchase pre-release access, at AndrewRussell.net/exen/]

It’s very uplifting seeing you succeed! I hope you finish a great port of XNA, so I will have real trouble deciding to use my own lib in the future. 🙂

Congratulations! Maybe Linux port too? Seems it uses OpenGL, which is available on linux platforms

Thanks Everyone.

Unfortunately there is a lot more to a port than just the renderer – so I won’t be doing a Linux port myself.
